Product Overview
The Steel Tech Lights 30FT × 5-Inch Square Steel Light Pole is a heavy-duty commercial and industrial outdoor lighting pole designed for large parking lots, distribution centers, industrial facilities, commercial campuses, municipal properties, dealerships, and other applications requiring elevated area lighting.
Constructed from high-strength steel tubing, this straight square pole conforms to ASTM A500 Grade B specifications with a minimum yield strength of 46,000 PSI. Unlike the 20FT and 25FT models, the 30FT pole uses a larger 5-inch square profile with 10-gauge steel construction.
For exterior durability, the pole receives hot-dip galvanizing along with a textured architectural bronze powder-coat finish.
The pole includes anchor bolts, a formed steel base cover, and a reinforced hand hole with cover and ground screw. Standard poles are predrilled on four sides and supplied with a polycarbonate top cover and plugs for unused mounting locations.

EPA / Wind Loading
According to the manufacturer's EPA chart, the 30FT square pole has maximum EPA ratings of 9.6 sq. ft. at 70 MPH, 7.4 at 80 MPH, 6.9 at 90 MPH, 4.3 at 100 MPH, 3.5 at 110 MPH, and 2.2 at 120 MPH. The manufacturer's documentation also illustrates Single, D90, D180, T90 and Q90 fixture configurations. The complete lighting configuration must remain within the applicable EPA and wind-loading requirements.
